susan’s TEDX SPEECH – ‘PUNCH FEAR IN THE FACE & CLAIM YOUR LIFE’ – tells an inspiring story of courage and hope
‘Punch Fear in the Face & Claim Your Life’ is about the power we all have deep inside of us to create a life we love – when we decide to listen to our inner wisdom and take brave steps toward our dreams.
I use as a centerpiece the inspiring story of my mother, Miriam, who allows her domineering husband to crush her spirits, until she gives him an ultimatum on her 50th birthday.
This paves the way for bigger opportunities to open up for Miriam – and she says YES despite her fears. The outcome is stunning!
Following my speech, I engage the audience in an intimate conversation about how the story resonated for them and how they have personally triumphed over adversity. This conversation builds connection and community that lasts long after the event is over.
If you are looking to create an experience that will change lives & deeply connect audience members to one another and to your organization’s mission, then I can make it happen!
So very inspirational!
I was so enthralled with the story, and was captivated with the passion in which she told it. I just listened to it again and got goosebumps!
I just turned 50 this year, so it really hit home with me on many levels.
I’m sharing her talk with all my friends.
